A House Full of Friends

This weekend Tommy and Ted came to San Antonio for a visit, Will flew in from Germany, and Janet (Will and Ed's mom) drove over from Houston. We had a great weekend. On Friday night we went out to a Rag-Time jazz club on the San Antonio Riverwalk. It was very fun, and got me in the mood for swing dancing... has anyone been recently? I really miss it... I think I'll try to find a place to go here in SA. Saturday Will and Ed returned from Dallas, where Will flew to, and Janet arrived from Houston to visit Will. We all went to dinner out one of favorites: La Tuna... a SA ice house turned restaurant and bar. Great food, and a fabulous white chocolate, cherry bread pudding. Hmm... wonder why I've gained so much weight recently.

Meanwhile , on the losing weight front, I'm checking out Gold's Gym. The one here in SA is really nice. At one of the locations they have cardio equipment set up in front of a movie theater screen. Pretty cool. I took a yoga class on Friday, and it kicked my booty! Today I tried out a class called body pump. Its a class that takes you through a series of barbell exercises: squats, curls, push ups, and sit ups.. the works! My legs were all wobbly when I left. My arms are still on the fritz.

We are going to Denton this weekend ... Toni's Graduation!!! Hooray!! We'll be back again the weekend after that for xmas fun!
