Timing is Everything

Last night I spent a good hour chatting up with Lisa, my step-sister for those of you who don't know her. I really love talking with her because she is the most "real" person I know. No bullshit, just the facts, and a snazzy way of getting the point across. I really admire so much of what Lisa has done with her life, although it hasn't always been easy, she has done it all for herself and on her own. It was really great to shmooze about the parents, men, and life in general.

I've been at school for a few hours today. I've been working for about an hour with Dr. Mookrjee on our paper for the conference. He has been slowly but surely removing duties from my workload so as to prevent me from freaking out. Basically, I've gone from having 4 research project to 2 in about 2 days. YIPPY!!!
